Aquariums & Products

1. Are the aquariums listed on Northeast Aquariums used? 

No, our aquariums are new, unless otherwise stated in the product description. The aquariums offered are usually display models that have never been used with water, but may have some slight unnoticeable aesthetic imperfections that will not interfere with usage or integrity.

2. How is Northeast Aquariums able to offer these aquariums at lower than retail prices?

We have partnerships with aquarium manufacturers that allow us access to their "out-of-box" inventory (ex: display models, past season stock, unsold inventory etc). These aquariums are usually in like new or excellent condition, with a few that are in good condition. See product listing for more details on condition. For more information, click here.

 

Shipping & Returns

1. How is my order shipped?

For aquariums, we ship through a third party carrier to all states in the continental US. The carrier will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery time frame that works for you. All shipping for aquariums is standard curbside, which means the driver will drop off the product in front of your home or driveway. You MUST be present to accept the order. For all other orders, such as decor or artificial plants, we use either UPS Ground, Fedex, or USPS.

2. Do you do inside delivery for aquariums?

At the moment, we are not doing inside delivery, however, we are happy to recommend an aquarium installation company to work with you. Note: fees will apply depending on the installation company.

3. Do you accept returns on products?

Yes, we accept returns on all unused items, including aquariums, within 2 weeks of delivery. The one way shipping back to us must be paid by the original buyer, and the buyer is responsible for packing the product as to avoid damages during transit. The buyer is liable for ALL potential happenings during transit. If the product arrives damaged to us, you will NOT be entitled to your refund. All items must come with its original parts, and aquarium plumbing must be unglued and uncut. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN ALTERED OR USED WITH WATER, EVEN IF TEMPORARILY.
